Museum of Arts and Design

For our lovely office party we had lunch at the Landmarc and then moseyed on down to the Museum of Arts and Design at Columbus Circle. The Museum is rad- a great way to spend the day. I kept getting scolded for taking photos, so my collection is incomplete.
You can tell that they are transitioning from a crafts related museum to a more arts focused curation. I wasn't able to take photos of all the rad pieces that were more fine-artsy, but they were great, well put together, well edited, and well appreciated by yours truly.

Mish mosh tea set.Close up gorilla cup.

Perforated vase collection.

Glowing orange city bowl!

tots.
A ring for each finger. If you look closely there is an animal figure on the top of each ring.
A necklace made directly from a porcelain bowl.

Hey thanks Sarah!
That lumpy bulbous vase with the dots I thought was really fantastic also!
