Who's got the best party outfitz?

Katie?
Moi?
Richie Rich?

I vote Richie Rich...he's fabulous. And also, feathered. We went to see him last night but he only performed one song, so that a little sad. We wanted some real stage time with him. Andre J was there, but I didn't not get the balls to ask for a picture. I was overwhelmed a little bit.
This weekend, last chance at PS1 WarmUp, maybe a ruff club party, a loft concert party, maybe I'll throw a party at my place, maybe I won't go into the city because the city on the weekend has a large population of NJ and LI. Any ideas ladies and gents?

Peter, Bjorn and John are a DJ

Actually I think it was just Bjorn, but I can't be so sure. Since I don't regurlary hang out with them, I can't tell them apart just by looking at them. It's like twins... or triplets... who all look different...
Anyways, they (him?) dj-ed at Le Royale. I danced. All that jazz. It wasn't the best DJ set, but I didn't hate it.

Diplo is a dj

Way back in 2005 I used to volunteer to register voters at shows. The deal was I would get to go to the show for free, usually meet an artist or two and make an impact in the world by registering voters, something I believe in. Good deal.
I went to do exactly this at an RJD2 show. This guy, Diplo, was the opener. I had never heard of him, but he played a pretty decent set (which included, to my pleasure, Bonita Applebum- Tribe Called Quest and Bombs of Baghdad-Outkast). During the switch over he came over to my table and introduced himself to me. We talked for a few mintues and he passed off this disk, "Diplo Banned in Libya." "Check it out," he said...
Three years later, he's not just pretty decent, he's Mad Decent. And I went to see him, once at summer stage this past weekend, and last night at Le Royale. I was smashed up against the dj booth the whole mind-blowing, brain-explodoing set.
This wonderful lady is DJ Cat, and she was fantastic, and wearing the most amazing sparkley boustier. That girl could rock it.

The crowd was feeln' it.
Dimitry!!! was feeln' it too.

Style Wars

The idea for style wars was project runway meets a five minute time limit sent through a mega art school filter, and down the runway comes amazingly creative, one of a kind pieces.

What it actually turned out being was a big group of people drinking tons of free stoli, a shit sound system, and lots of poles in the way from being able to take a decent shot of the runway itself.
Introducing the newest member of the Long Red Heads Club. Someone should tell him, not everyone can be Andre J.We got bored with the actual event and grabbed some more free stoli before jetting over to nearby Le Royale. I love it there, perhaps too much. Terry ended up giving us more and more free booze, which I couldn't take anymore and started doling out to the gents.

A happy group on their way home.
I held on to the subway seat for support on the ride back to the BK and I drank an entire litre of seltzer before I went to sleep, so I wasn't really that hung over. Drinking water always does the trizzick.
