In a room filled with useless photography, I spied this wonderful pirate ship cutout. Why is it a pirate ship? Because me says it is, arg!

oh Kermey!

We went to the balloon blowing up before the parade. For some reason they pinned Kermit the Frog in such a position he looked like he was touching on himself. oh yeah.

WTF is with Ann Taylor Mannequins?

Their tots, or more specifically, their nips. Jeeze, it can't be that cold in the windows. You could cut glass with nips that hard.

Our new favorite place

We stumbled up a little gem so far west, you're practically in the Hudson, called Tortilla Flats. Its SUPER kitschy, they have tons of Elvis memorabilia, and also have hula hoops and disco music (complete with a disco ball).
If you guess the right number when a guy comes and throws dice on your table you will get free tequila shots. Best most fun.
Don't cry, Elvis.

Socialista

We went to Socialista's second floor, which is supposed to be like oh-so-hard to get in. It wasn't that hard, but it was also the day before thanksgiving, so maybe that had something to do with the easy access. It was kinda fun, and I think we would have stayed longed if the drinks didn't cost a bajillion dollars. I think its worth a second shot.

What I did this Thanksgiving

This is basically all my family did when we weren't eating, and a little bit when we were eating also.

Cosby Sweaters

This Thanksgiving the fam fam gathered around, much like this painting I took a photo of at the Columbia Open Studios. Unlike this gathering, we did not wear Cosby sweaters.
