Night Time Park Party

THIS GUY IS A PARTY CRASHER!
That is- if you can crash a party in a public park. Agathe and I threw a party for her return a New York de Paris in Prospect Park. Prospect Park is one of my favorite places to hang out- party or no party.
Factoid- Frank Law Olmstead, designer of both Prospect and Central parks preferred Prospect Park. Because it is the ballerest.
Also- I was wearing the best outfit. I just bought those suspender pants (over alls?) that day at the Buffalo Exchange, and was SO excited about them. Red White and Blue is my fav color combo when it comes to fashion.



I injured my neck and spent half the party lying in the grass, but I love the grass, so it was aight.




Obviously the park is a great solution to "where to party?" You can invited unlimited amounts of people, there is a huge ass amount of space to dance, run, crazy go nuts, etc. And just as long as you are discrete and not an raving asshole you can totes drink your wine.

I caught this awesome band on the street the other day in da 'burg, and they kicked so much ass. The Superpowers, check em.

Julie

Julie likes Edie Sedgwick so much she copied her hair style. I walked into Julie on my block looking fabulous coming home from work. It turned out it was a big day for her, she got promoted! Her out fit, was of course fabu, but what brought it to that next level was her glow. When you get news as good as hers was you can't help but smile, not just with your eyes but with every fiber.
And she was wearing Louboutins... I'm just sayin'.

Renegade Craft Fair

Rebecca hollered at me and my peeps to come holler at her and her wares at the Renegade Craft Fair at McCarren Park in da 'burg, so we did.













And there was totally a one-eyed guitar playing pirate there also.







This was mine and Milan's favorite booth, really fine and delicate ceramic bowls with gold leafing. The interior walls of the booth were lined from floor to ceiling with small sheets of white paper creating a calm inside, a refuge from the intense sun, and a perfect place to host the delicate objects.
Garance joined us, which was awesome. I tried to speak French with her because j'adore le Francais, mais mon Francais est tres mal et je pense qu'elle ne m'a compris. Zut!
Not only did I like these neat jams, but I liked the way they were displayed. Perfect for the kind of day it was.

I basically wanted everything, but smartly (accidently on purpose) didn't really bring cash, so I couldn't purchase anything. Which was good because I have a fatter wallet, but sad because I couldn't support any of these wonderful, independent, up and coming, local design stars!

Katie

Katie is one of those incredible photogenic people that just looks amazing in nearly every shot. Its probably because she is so lovely in person. She's one of my favorite people to photograph. I liked these pictures, taken at the loft party, which were kinda outtakes, but Katie looks so etheral I just fell in love with these photos. Even blurry Katie shines!Barbara and I met Katie one fated night- trying to catch Aggy dj-ing. From that point on it was just one of those instant friendships that are so hard to come by and just grow to be these beautiful relationships.
The three of us are coming up on a year of dancing, drinking, dating, and dealing with New York. We've been trying to find a good place to host our one year anniversary fabulous bash. Any ideas?

Tequilas Missing

Last week on Monday we hit up our favorite bar- Tortilla Flats- for some bingo good times. While I neglected to bring my ukulele this time, I did tote my camera and had alot of fun with all the neon lights and taking portraits. Plus my friends are the BALLEREST and all very attractive, so taking photos of them is really a walk in the park... or like taking a free shot Tequila.
This was my favorite pic of the night. Oh Andrew- you sexy beast.

I also ate the best quesdilla ever, which cheese and mushrooms cooked in white wine sauce. OMG the food here is so delcious, which I think you wouldn't nessicarly expect.

Our TM of the night was Tequilas Missing, but they came after all. Alex had three.
