Holidays in the 'burbs.

I went up to the 'burbs for a day of Christmas feasting, good friend time spending, and mostly some dog pettin' time. Well that's what everyone who came over for Christmas did. Here is my dad, prepping Merlin for the big day ahead of him.
What's interesting about our Christmas celebration is that over the years it has turned into a big Jew-a-thon, considering the only people who are not really jewish are my mom and her brothers and my aunt. We did the whole menorah thing because this was one of those years where the holidays intercepted.

Museum of Arts and Design

For our lovely office party we had lunch at the Landmarc and then moseyed on down to the Museum of Arts and Design at Columbus Circle. The Museum is rad- a great way to spend the day. I kept getting scolded for taking photos, so my collection is incomplete.
You can tell that they are transitioning from a crafts related museum to a more arts focused curation. I wasn't able to take photos of all the rad pieces that were more fine-artsy, but they were great, well put together, well edited, and well appreciated by yours truly.

A ring for each finger. If you look closely there is an animal figure on the top of each ring.
A necklace made directly from a porcelain bowl.

Santa Con

We tried to take a photo with some Santacon-ers. They were fratty fratty frat boys and sucked.
And the mom taking the photo also really sucked- at taking photos.
And we were near Rockefeller Center which is a terribile place to be, extra horrible during Christmas time when its full of ass holes from Not New York.

Olsen-o-rama

The ultimate celebrity sighting last night- an Olsen at Lit Lounge.
I'm not sure how I can elaborate on this, except that it was a really good moment. Everyone in the bar was way too New York to holler at her or anything, it was just like any other girl at the bar.

When I was an RA in college my floor was Olsen Twin themed.

And club be Jumping Jumping

Allz I want to know is what did these poor men say when their costumes were presented to them, and they realized they were going to be Siegfried and Roy.
Nice capes.
